Why? Grans, opposite sex, and my complicated life

There was once a little girl. She lived with her paternal grandmother, but always treasure the time she was given with her maternal granny.
Why was it that both grans had to be taken away from her in the same year?
Why was it that the only guy she trusted had to be so cold towards her?
Why?

Now this little girl is me.

I lost both my grandmothers, my cousin, and my great-grandmother within the span of 3 years.
I suffered my first sprain this year.
I lost the people who loved me, and me them.

I'll admit with no doubt that this has to be the worst year I had in my short 14 years on earth.

Although I had my fun times, this is the worst year I have been through. And yes, I know I am not the only one, but growing up as an only child, I don't share my emotions. I hide them away in a bottle, and empty it every year when the year ends, and the new year begins. This has caused me to be harder on myself, asking for perfections whether in school projects or in life (okayy, maybe not in life, but I do try my best).

Why was it that the people I loved so much had to be taken away from me so early in my life. I always assumed that my grandmothers would see me graduate from polytechnic, then university, then get my first job, maybe marriage, then my own home. But no, they were taken away when I was still studying. I couldn't even fulfill my fantasy of being looked after by my grandmother when I got chickenpox.

Why?

Why must my grannys be taken away so early.

I understand that this is a route all must take at one point in time or another, and as much as it hurts, I am, trying to learn how to live with it,and learn to get over it.

They will continue to live on in my heart, and I will live to the best of my abilities, I will live my life to the fullest.

To my grannys: I Love You, and I promise to live my life to the best I can. I will not disappoint the two of you.,. Love ya

Boys, are really not my most important concern, but I am affected as it is right now as I treated him like my best friend.

I'll admit that I have been disappointed by my friends in the past, but I never expected him to do the same. Friends are rarely trust-worthy, but I may have found my place, and he doesn't get a first class seat.

To the guy I am talking about, you know who you are. I just wanna say, Thank You. Thank you for letting me see how cruel this world can be. Thank you for helping me grow into a stronger young adult/ teenager. Thank you for being one of my best friends in the past, and finally, thank you, for being there when I needed some company, and I am sorry you couldn't stay up there in my ranking of friends. I think I have friends who don't just type an ok when I am ranting.

To my readers out there, you all have your past, and if you are in that lowest point in your life, don't worry. Things will get better one day, although I don't know when that they will be. Know that I am trying to climb up the happiness ladder too, and if you ever need anyone to talk to feel free to drop a comment in the comment section below, or if you feel like you don't want to publicise your life, do drop me an email at theluckygal@gmail.com

Finally, before I sign off for the day, a little update on my life.

I'll be flying off to China tomorrow for a school trip for 9 days, and that is basically all that is going on right now, so I'll see you guys again.

Review: Ghost the Musical

Hey readers,

I'm back. First of all, sorry for disappearing for so long. Secondly, this will be a post about Ghost the Musical, but I promise this is not a sponsored post, after all, I am still a schooling kid.

Now, Ghost the Musical, it really is a musical about love, love between the living and the dead. Molly and Sam are fiances, but Sam has nevered said the three words every girl wants to hear -- I Love You. He always says -- Ditto. One day, after a fight, the duo meets a robber and Sam is shot.

He dies.

Molly is obviously devastated, and drops into a pit of despair. Carl, Sam's colleague and good friend, is there for her but is actually out to harm her. He plots to con Sam's money in order to clear his debt, and actually masterminded the entire incident.

The above is just the most simplified summary of the musical, and there are many more details which will make you laugh, and make you want to cry.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This musical is different from all the musicals I have attended in the past, and I have watch quite a number since my mother loves this kind of performances and have brought me to those she have attended.

Musicals in this century have moved along with the world, towards technology. Musicals are now more high-tech, with all the spot lights, backdrops and such, the visual is too pleasing to the eye to describe.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghost the Musical is amusical with book and lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin and music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.
Based on the hit 1990 romantic drama film of the same name, the musical had its world premiere at the Manchester Opera House in Manchester in March 2011. Ghost then began its West Endpremiere in summer 2011, opening on 19 July.[1][2] ABroadway transfer opened in April 2012. It will be touring the UK in 2013, after the London production closed in October 2012.
The plot centres on lovers Sam and Molly, who are attacked as they are returning to their apartment. When Sam dies he becomes caught between the real world and the next. Molly is in danger and Sam cannot leave her. A medium, Oda Mae Brown, helps Sam to get in touch with Molly to warn her.

Your Daily Motivation- Chapter 7

Hey guys,

I won't say a lot today, as I have quite a bit of work to be done, but

1. Sorry for missing a couple of posts, I swear I'll make up for them one day.

2. Click on the link below for today's motivation.

When taking notes in class, you always start off trying to be all neat and organized and then crumble into a big jumbled mess half way through class — partly because your hand got tired and partly because you may have nodded off for 30 seconds and it all went down hill from there. But as hard as it is to believe, for some people, note-taking is an enjoyable art form. If you're in denial about this breed of student actually existing, just wait until you see the prettiest class notes we were able to dig up on Tumblr. After you check out these note-taking works of art out you won't be able to resist the urge to go and study for your finals. Seriously.

Did it help? I hope so.
