Your Daily Motivation- Chapter 7

Hey guys,

I won't say a lot today, as I have quite a bit of work to be done, but

1. Sorry for missing a couple of posts, I swear I'll make up for them one day.

2. Click on the link below for today's motivation.

When taking notes in class, you always start off trying to be all neat and organized and then crumble into a big jumbled mess half way through class — partly because your hand got tired and partly because you may have nodded off for 30 seconds and it all went down hill from there. But as hard as it is to believe, for some people, note-taking is an enjoyable art form. If you're in denial about this breed of student actually existing, just wait until you see the prettiest class notes we were able to dig up on Tumblr. After you check out these note-taking works of art out you won't be able to resist the urge to go and study for your finals. Seriously.

Did it help? I hope so.

Your Daily Motivation- Chapter 4

Hello readers,

I know, I know, today's post is very late, and I am sorry. but I promise it will be earlier tomorrow.

For today, I have yet another story.

The Froggy Story[http://www.ezsoftech.com/stories/encouraging.stories.asp]

Encouragement Stories: Encouraging Lesson from a Frog Tale
A group of frogs were hopping contentedly through the woods, going about their froggy business, when two of them fell into a deep pit. All of the other frogs gathered around the pit to see what could be done to help their companions. When they saw how deep the pit was, the rest of the dismayed group agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate, because they were as good as dead.

Unwilling to accept this terrible fate, the two frogs began to jump with all of their might.

Some of the frogs shouted into the pit that it was hopeless and that the two frogs would not be in that situation if they had been more careful, more obedient to the froggy rules, and more responsible. The other frogs continued sorrowfully shouting that they should save their energy and give up, since they were already as good as dead.

The two frogs continued jumping as hard as they could and after several hours of desperate effort were quite weary.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed to the calls of his fellows. Spent and disheartened, he quietly resolved himself to his fate, lay down at the bottom of the pit and died as the others looked on in helpless grief. The other frog continued to jump with every ounce of energy he had, although his body was wracked with pain and he was completely exhausted.

His companions began a new, yelling for him to accept his fate, stop the pain and just die. The weary frog jumped harder and harder and - wonder of wonders! Finally leapt so high that he sprang from the pit. Amazed, the other frogs celebrated his miraculous freedom and then gathering around him asked, "Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?" Reading their lips, the astonished frog explained to them that he was deaf and that when he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him on. What he had perceived as encouragement inspired him to try harder and to succeed against all odds.
This simple Frog story contains a powerful lesson. Your encouraging or positive words can lift someone up and help him or her make it through the day. Your destructive or negative words can cause deep wounds; they may be the weapons that destroy someone's desire to continue trying - or even their life. Your destructive, careless word can diminish someone in the eyes of others, destroy their influence and have a lasting impact on the way others respond to them.

Moral of the story: Your encouraging or positive words can lift someone up and help him or her make it through the day. Your destructive or negative words can cause deep wounds; they may be the weapons that destroy someone's desire to continue trying - or even their life. Your destructive, careless word can diminish someone in the eyes of others, destroy their influence and have a lasting impact on the way others respond to them.

So if you get the chance, do encourage someone to make their day. You never know when you will need their encouragement another day.

That's all for today, I'll check back in on you guys tomorrow.

Your Daily Motivation- Chapter 3

Hello again readers,

I'm back with a story to tell.

A Dish of Ice Cream [www.livin3.com]

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

“How much is an ice cream sundae?”

“50 cents,” replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it.

“How much is a dish of plain ice cream?” he inquired. Some people were now waiting for a table and the waitress was a bit impatient.

“35 cents,” she said brusquely.

The little boy again counted the coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and departed.

When the waitress came back, she began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what she saw.

There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 cents- her tip.

Well, isn't that a beautiful story? How many of us can actually do that? At this point, I would like you guys to take a moment to step back and reflect, how appreciative of the people around us are we? Have we done enough?

Well, just a little food for thought.

With that, I have came to the end of today's post, wishing you an even greater day tomorrow!

Create a life you don't have to escape from.
